F vs K trans ratios
« on: December 30, 2009, 03:17:13 PM »
I came across a deal on a 77 750 F transmission, low miles in good condition. Assuming I am going to have my K4 836 motor open anyway during the re-build would there be a noticeable difference switching to the f ratio's? I own an f and a k but one didn't have a speedometer and the other didn't have a tach, now that they are both repaired the riding weather is gone. The sprockets are 17 and 48.  I did a search, now just looking for opinions. Thanks.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
