Waiting for parts, cleaning up parts, sit around making vroom vroom noises with me hands out in front of me. I am addicted to grease and the smell of over rich exhaust, so if I don't ride or wrench I rub my hands over the chain a few dozen times and crack the gas cap.
I love the smell of over-rich exhaust in the morning.

I've hated school since about 2nd or 3rd grade, but I keep going back for more.  Age 49, working on yet another degree squeezed in somehow with my other duties.  I love learning, it's school I dislike.

So, ya see sonny, you can always go back for more...and more...and more...and more... ;)

That's the way my wife is. I think she's insane, but her company is paying for it and it makes her happy, so what can I do?  ;)

I spend my time hitting my right thumbnail with a hammer as I work in the garage (putting up shelves etc) getting it ready to be able to actually work on the bikes.

Also routinely hit/bang up/scrape various fingers as I do all and sundry DIY jobs around the house.

I'm a huge RC airplane nut. It's probably my number one hobby. I also like playing with old Volkswagens. I have a 1972 Beetle that I've restored, working on the engine rebuild now.

So, of course, you have that definitive text, written by John Muir, 'How to keep your Volkswagen alive. A manual of step by step procedures for the compleat idiot.'

Best automotive mechanic book ever!! :D  I still have mine and reference it often even though I sold my VW over 5 years ago.

Of course! That book is required if you're going to call yourself an aircooled VW owner.  :D

I retired six years ago from the aerospace industry.  One of the requirements before retirement is
to attend a class that explains what to expect in retirement.  I was amazed that they said the hardest
thing is to find activities to fill the eight...in my case 10-12.. hours that you spent at work. In reality,
hobbies that I had while I worked have expanded to fill all those hours and more!  ;D I really don't
know how I had time to work.  ::) Maybe I should check with my former boss to see if I really did!  ;D

Between two bikes...another soon  ::) , six computers running in the house, home automation, flying,
travel, normal house fixit duties, etc., I can fill all available hours.

;) ;).......... Lots of wenching.........of course, limited to a harem of one for life........

I reload ammo for pistols, revolvers, rifles (my .375 H&H forced me into that 30 years ago, even then a box of 20 shells was like $26) >:(

I do like 35mm photography........ I've got a very old Minolta XK with interchangeable viewfinders, and just about everything else a camera can possibly do.........what a shame Minolta stopped making them......... I guess they just couldn't compete with Nikon.......I still love the XK.
Say, Bob Wessner, didn't Kodak drop the black & white film?  What a pity.........

Build a lot of scale models......... aircraft, armor, submarines........got the air brush and all that jolly rot........

     Fly fish...............Love It!!

Hike and camp throughout Arizona........... love exploring ghost towns and especially abandoned mines......... careful as a ringtailed cat.........

Love history, read a great deal.........Will read anything by Winston Churchill.......

Computer work.........love IBM's OS/2 Warp 4......... easy to make your own programs.....

Love getting Into The Wind with my 750 ;D ;D

Love watching my sons as they mature through their lives.........always a fascinating adventure

Myself im usually either researching my rides or working on them both 2 and 4 wheeled. I cant seem to stop finding more hondas to own lately lol. Recently picked up a 90 Honda CRX Si hatchback. Its a fun little car...of course it doesnt have the low end muscle of the V6 in my Z24 but its a fun car none the less..

Other then that im into digital photography. I own two HP Digital cameras one is an older Photosmart 320 and the other is a Photosmart M307. The 320 is usually the camera i will use for shots that i dont require a lot of detail since its easier on batteries but still takes good shots. the M307 is a bad one for eating batteries in hours but its the one i use for high detail pics and vid recording since i have an SD card in it. All the pics i have posted on here thus far have been taken with the M307 on med setting. One of these days i will do a side by side shoot with both cameras and post the pics on here  ;D

Other then that its drawing or writing for me and when i can get myself into it again sometime it will be scale models once more.

Well,
I have a few aquariums. I have had 5 at once, but now I just have a 46gal bow front tank w/ fresh water Convict cichlids. My other pride and joy is a 110gal reef tank with a Humahumanukunukuappa trigger fish, blue devil damsel, and a Christmas wrasse. Lots of types of Coral, and other inverts from all over the world.  A really got into the hobby before the bikes. Still the it though. A few pics with normal daylight lightning and a few under the actinic lightning.

I sit nervously waiting for my boss, or my wife, to let me go back out to my garage again...........  ???
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
