Does anyone know of OEM Brake Pads for CB750K2? Motogrid.com says NLA.

Suggestion for best substitute?

I'm running K1 calipers  on my K8, and installed EBC Kevlar pads.  FA12's
Never an issue. Got them at Dennis Kirk.

I saw those on eBay. EBC is a known brand, trustworthy I'd hope. Did you have to sand down the perimeter to get them to fit?

Yes, sanding was needed on the EBC backer.  A wire wheel makes quick work of it though.

I always sand off the paint on the sides (ebc or other), and grease the back and sides of the metal with high vac grease.

I bought some Ferodo from Vintage Brake, fit easily, stop well, and much less squeek.

I run fa12v, it is the EBC ones but semi-sintered. You can snag them sometimes on ebay or amazon. They need wheeling/sanding, I'm pretty sure almost all of these pads do now

Either way, one comment about the FA12V. If your rotor isn't ground flat and caliper swinger adjusted properly they will SQUEEEEEEEEAK. Supposed to be the same deal with the regular EBc

Thx. I've got a call into them now. The Ferodo for CB750 say (race) after them on their website. So I'm asking VB if they have a Ferodo for the street.

Sentimental favortie. I used Ferodo's when I raced many moons ago. Thought they were NLA.

I went to take a look since it has been a couple of years and I can see how it would read "racing". It is not well worded. It means the applied "Technology learnd from Racing "   http://www.vintagebrake.com/pads.htm

The proprietor from VB just called me back. The pads for the CB750 have "BW" in front of them, even though the page is headed FERODO. BW stans for Borg Warner.  He confirmed that part of his website is not done well, or at least is confusing. He confirmed my recollection that FERODO hasn't made pads for CB750 in 35 years.  If your packaging said FERODO, it was leftover from days gone by. He only has the BWs now. He recommended for my use the EBCs.

Anyway, I already went cheapo with the DAIDOs on eBay since I won't be taxing this system.

Great discussion though! Thx everyone.
