Ther WAS a CB 750 running at BuB this year!!
« on: January 04, 2010, 07:47:59 AM »
Just saw a pic of it in Motorcycle Classics..

 Blue fat striper with sidecar, ran 85, and got a record !

 Must have had an enclosed trailer or was gone by supper Tuesday, cause I for sure did not see it! And I dont think Old Scrambler did either,

 Nice pics of BuB and the Bonnevillle GP in that mag.. X-75 Hurricane on the cover..

What does BUB stand for? I know its motorcycle only LSR but I'm curious about the acronym, no word on the web site.

Frank.....I usually don't take pictures of bikes that do less than a ton!  I did see the 750 with the sidecar but he left early. I think a sidecar automatic with a rider that weighs less than you would be very capable of higher speed.  The added tranny weight is at the right place.

This rig did not look like a racer..

 BTW  Old Scrambler, they do mention a few CB 750 s being in the show, and in one of the pics, you can see the back end of Bills trailer.. ;D

 You need not take my word on this anymore, but Motorcycle Classics, rates the Bonneville GP in about the top 3 bike events in the country... FWIW... told ya it was pretty good.. ;
