I want to replace my brake hose lines for my '75 750K but have some questions and hope you all can help.
First, the hoses on now are clearly not stock as they are too long-- so what is the proper length?
Seems many of you have traded up to Galfer steel braided lines and have had a good results, yes? Or, any other source to suggest.
I can't seem to determine from their web site, or from CycleBrakes.com, if you can simply order replacement lines for a given make, year, model, or if you must send your old lines and they duplicate-- which in my case won't work given the length problem.
Seems one possible snake bite is that since the ones on mine now are not stock, the fittings may be different as well. Does anyone know if the the types of stock fittings used on my year/model are the same as the same year 550K. I have that one as stock so I could easily compare.
