im close to getting a new bike. what are the opinions on a 2001 ex-police kz1000 i need so advice so i dont get a klunker

Great bike hard to go wrong with an engine they have been using since the late 70s.  100,000 mile bike with minimal maintenance.

so depending on the mileage and condition of the bike is 1250 a good price for one without the siren emergency lights and radio?
