wow, 2010 is starting out with some cool news!
i'm always envious of those threads where someone scores a cool bike for next to nothing...it's looking like i might actually get my turn.
a good pal that i used to work with years ago at a motorcycle shop, just moved down to la grange (about 70 miles from me) this past september. he has his own cycle shop. he's a great wrench, good dude, with lots of cool bikes and old cars.
he sends me a message this morning.
"a customer of mine says he has a couple old honda 350's...a '69 and what he thinks is a '72. the '69 runs, the '72 did when it was parked. he wants a couple hundred for them. interested?"
uh, yeah! i'm interested!!!
so he's gonna swing out and take a look at them maybe tonight.
two new projects for the winter (fingers crossed)!
