The MotionPro throttle cable for my K0 750 had a too long inner cable relative to the casing and I had to customize it to work. Don't remember what I did but remember wondering "how hard could it be to measure a stock cable and duplicate it?".
Yea that was kinda my thinking.
I called up and talked to them about this. The guy said something like... We make a certain number of cable models. we feel even if it's not the right size, but it will work for the application, we sell it for that application. If we didn't make them, where would you get them, custom cables cost 40 bucks a piece?...I said, well then why do you advertise them as "stock" replacement when they're 1 1/2 inches longer and the inside is too long for a particular application?
The guy got ticked off and said order from a dealer then if you don't like our products.
Funny thing is I did buy their cables from the local dealer.
What are the alternatives to Motion Pro? (as I am in need of a new clutch cable, less than a year old and under 1500 miles and it's already fraying at the lever)
