What is a cush drive?
« on: January 01, 2006, 09:21:40 PM »
I got the idea of where it mounts (on the rear axle, right?).  But what is its purpose?  I need to know if I need to take into account this part's measurement when looking for a donor rear wheel.

It's the rubber cushions in the rear hub, between drive train and wheel.
It allows the drive transfer to be taken up without it snatching.
Makes your chain, sprockets, spokes and tyre last longer.

I've got a cushy job! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
