any twinstar owners? favor request (cm185 or cm200)
« on: January 12, 2010, 01:11:08 AM »
I am working on mix and match front end setup and cm200 (or cm185) triples look like they would fit my need. It would be great if someone had one of these and could measure the distance between the fork tubes (in between or center to center).

The project front end is for mid 60s honda s90 - I am putting a 90s yz80 front rim with disc brake and will use 70s honda sl100 forks - they are 31mm like twinstar but sl100 triples are way too narrow for the yz wheel. I am hopin the cm triples would be a little wider. Otherwise they seem to have a good shape for my use.

1982 CM200 - I'm measuring just slightly less than 7" (center to center).
Can't get more accurate than that, the bike is still assembled, and it's FREEZING out there !!
My tape measure is inches only, sorry.........
