Topic: K1 project need some info....can't find it in search

Title: 1970 Vin 1003***
Engine: CB750E-1063553 (K1?)
Cam: R5 and also stamped H and I
Head: stamped C22 and Z on the bottom and E I and 4 11 or 4 77.- What gen or year is this head?
I aslo think the cam is DONE...the lobes are starting to look a little bit like shark fins...

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks for the link, but I really am just wondering what the head came from. I imagine since it fits the motor it must be a good mate for it. I know that they are different from 76 on.

Are the cams supposed to look like that? Where can I find the cam bearings/journals ( tops and bottoms)?

a lot of my engine parts including my cam are at school. I go back on tuesday, I can check then if you haven't found out yet. as far as cam bearings/journals I'm not sure. do you mean the holders that bolt on top? I get confused with terminology sometimes and make up my own names for things...

I know my head has that 77 or 11 looking mark on it. I thought maybe it was japanese markings?
