1971 Yamaha XS1B 650 chopper

new to the board so hello to every one i drive a custom XS1B 650 chopper did most of the work myself but ran into a problem recently where my battery wont keep its charge and i was wondering if any XS 650 stators from 1970 to 1979 would fit mine

First of all, #$%*tard, I don't know what possessed you to ask a question about Yamaha XS's on a Honda SOHC site when I can think of at least 3 websites devoted to the XS650.

Second of all, I'm disgusted that you decided to chop a rare bird like the XS1 when you can get '79-'83 Specials all day long for $800.

Thirdly, whilst your unique grasp of the English language would have doubtless proved hours of entertaining reading, I can only surmise from your punctuation and grammar you are clearly an inbred, toothless asshat.
