MAKING THE HEADLIGHT EARSI took a piece of aluminum, marked it with a square, and bent it in the vise with some heat and a hammer and cut it in half.

Then I traced the original 1971 fork ears and cut starter lines with a dremel.

this aluminum is hard (6061), so, instead of wasting dremel wheels I did the rest with a hack saw.

Then I used a cutting file and busted my hump shaping them.
I also drilled them out with a 13/32 bit. I need a new belt for the sander(see the hammer dents?)

I still have to file the edges off to make it look less like I made it myself.
It's not done yet, I still gotta get the silicone tube and the holes drilled for the clamps.
