   Gotcha Bill!   Yeah, I thought they were pretty cool and a couple of years ago, I saw a Franklin Mint Diecast of a 1942 Indian Four and picked up on it quite quickly. Be the closest I'LL ever come, to having one (real ones go for about $60K and up!)

A friend just finished his indian 4 restoration, when he got it done it took about 2 weeks before he was brave enough to ride it, He said he wasn't sure why, he rode it before. I guess he was thinking about the dollars. He has a new unmachined crankcase for it. fixed the old one instead. Crazy.

 AWESOME!!!! Sure would like to see some shots of THAT one! I've only seen ONE in person and it was at a small museum at Silver Dollar City back in the 1960's. Have no idea whatever happened to THAT one.

   The unmachined crankcase has NO TELLING what kind of Value! I can understand being reluctant to use it.

I'm no doctor, but the way he heaves the engine seems right to me. He just stands, doesn't need to use the back muscles. Hold the engine with the arms, close to his belly. Moves his back backwards, putting the engine as close to his center of gravity as possible, and then walks. The back doesn't seem to undergo much strain from what I see.

   Cool post there Phil, too short for my taste, as I am all ears to that sound. I'm sure that Indian gets alot of attention, If I were out on the road, I'd probably forget where I was going AND just go along with YOU.
