Any suggestions how to buff these (Nylon or Vinyl or whatever plastic material they are) things out to a shine?
I've got a collection of scuff marks at the end I'd love to smooth over.
Regular wax polish seem good for the already smooth areas but the rough stuff maybe too far gone.

My buddy polished up similar material on his Suzuki Bl00p.....side covers I think ,came out perfect. He uses buffing wheel and liquid rubbing compound.....I will try it too.....but I will use a practice piece first. He said you got to be careful or it starts to melt.

You could also wet-sand starting with the finest grit that will remove the deep scratches, then work your way up to 1000 or so, and then polish back to a shine.

That's my thinking, that type of plastic should be one color all the way through, unlike say, the front bumper from a '79 Camaro Berlinetta.
