YOu probably know if you change the diameter of the rotor you'll change the mounting for the caliper etc.'

EBC lists one of their ProLite rotor for later Ks and Fs. What do you have?  They say the ProLite rotor is a bolt on and 15% stickier than stock.  USe with EBC pads for more brakes.

Hi. Yes are planning on using a brake caliper from ZRX 1100. So have to change the mounting.. :)  So want the rotor as big as possible :) :) ;D

Ducati 320mm bolt right on, but less offset..

Getting a caliper mounted, that could be a challenge!

If you had asked which new fork, would take a 750 wheel, I would say Ducati, but you will probably have a few issues with axle and speedo drive..

.but you didnt ask, so I am not saying... ;)

Ok :) So Ducati have the same bolt distance but less offset.? Do you know how much offset?

Thank you :) :) ;D

Keep in mind that with less offset on the rotor, you're going to have to keep a close eye on the caliper-spoke clearance.

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

I did not measure yet as I am not ready to mount caliper. . Difference can be taken up by spacer, but may cause speedo drive to not work.

I am putting mine on different forks, than Honda used, and plan on using 1 rotor.

Ducati owners are real weight hounds, the guy I got mine from suggested they are going for around 150 pr, they  have steel centers and the weight freaks, feel they are too fat..

Planning on just one rotor to, so will not be a problem with the speedo drive.. Will be on the other side.. :) Can I look for rotor from any Ducati?

Some fairly recent models, not sure which.. them numbers all run together for me.. :o

I have an idea if mounting caliper higher up to get good solid mount, a bit of work. I would machine a groove onto the fork tube using a lathe, above the stock caliper mounts. Groove can be around 3/8 wide, just make sure the mount area is true on the caliper side. Then a portion of the mount would fit in that groove (& be clamped from outside) and use the original mounts below, for a true flat mounting that wont turn. a fair bit of work, and then of course, fender mounting gets tricky..

 No pain, no gain...

I think welding to the fork leg will distort it, and a hole for the fork to ride in that ids not as true as possible, is a step in the wrong direction..

Sounds like a god idea.. :) I was thinking of welding it.. Have an extra fork so won’t be a problem if it doesn’t work out.. But like your idea  ;D ;D
