Chuck Norris to the rescue (git yer tinfoil hats on)
« on: January 12, 2010, 10:58:50 AM »
Let's hope his investigative skills are better than his acting skills. ;D ;D ;D  Maybe he can team up with Jesse Ventura and his new cable show. ;D ;D ;D

Love the last few lines in the article.

What does it say about Newsweek's bias when they make comments like this:

Quote from: newsweek
What does it say about the state of political discourse when the NRA is the voice of reason?

Even if you are worried about things like this wouldn't you want someone more competent than a lousy B-grade movie actor to investigate.  Even I would have more faith in the NRA on this one.  Click on the link to Chuck's rant and see if you can make any sense of it.  Though his mental state did become crystal clear in the last sentence were he essentially says that one big reason Obama signed this order was so he could hide his birth certificate in the "secret vault in New York." ;D ;D ;D

Nah, didn't bother reading the original stuff, he's a little too much on the Glenn Beck side for me- Light on the reality but heavy on the stupidity.

Frankly, I never understood this freedom of information act bull#$%*.  If you want to hide a secret you don't print it out on paper and store it in a vault, or a fileroom or anywhere.  Didn't anyone in government watch The Sopranos?
Sheesh.

Is there really some controversy over Obama's birth certificate?  Can't they simply call up the hospital where he was born and get an "offical copy" like anybody else?  Isn't that a matter of public record?  I know I did that for my kids, and for myself, when we got passports.  Is the passport application public record, too?  What's the big mystery?

Well I am sure you've heard of the "Birthers".  Mostly made up of the Sarah Palin/Tea Party fringe of the Republican Party who  believe Obama is a Muslim and not born in this country.  Even though his birth records show he was born in Hawaii it seems that is not good enough.  It's a fake ya know.  You can't win with people to whom facts have no meaning.  Maybe some of these folks don't realize Hawaii is part of the U.S. ::)  Believe me I have to endure this stuff all too often as my best friend's girlfriend is in this camp.  Thankfully he is about to give her the boot as he and all of his friends are tired of every get together having the potential of devolving into an argument about wacky conspiracy theories.
