That was my assumption too, especially with a tubeless tyre??

Well jimmy, a tubeless tire won't normally blow out, but any tubed tire has that potential, and while under-inflation is definately more dangerous because apart from potential tire damage it has some pretty adverse effects on handling etc, a couple of pounds either side of the tire manufacturers recommended pressure isn't gonna cause you to come to grief.
