Anyone know much about Jim Schmidt?
« on: January 13, 2010, 08:52:38 AM »
Anyone know much about the guy. He's full of ideas - have a look at his pages... http://users.gotsky.com/jimschmidt/

I got introduced because of the saxophone work he's done (see avatar - sax playing and teaching is my main hobby when I'm not in the workshop) but I quickly got sidetracked into his Norton stuff.

Before I knew it I'd ordered some frame plans - hell, why did I do that?  ???  Looks like I've just created myself a project out of thin air... can't stop myself some days.

Just think though, most projects start with a wreck of a bike turning up and the wife saying something like "what the hell are you going to do with that? and how much did you say it cost?". This way I'll sneak it in by purchasing bits of tube - could be a new drainpipe for all she knows. Bike, what bike?  ;D

Worth taking a look at his stuff, seems a very talented and original thinker.
