Quite a lineup! I just looked at the first few and came across a Honda Deauville?

Never heard of THAT one. Is That one of those that didn't get to the states? Details?

Number 4 and Number 7...if only they were available in that price range...or at all in the US.

I didn't know they made a 400 VFR, I assume it is a V4 also?

I know some racers who've picked up a gray market VFR400 for about $1500 I think it was.

Oh, yeah a v-4

Edit: 363# stock, so they'll probably get it down to 325 as a guess.  (They're building a track bike out of it, how's 280# and 80BHP sound?)

Imagine how pitiful such a list would seem if it only covered the US market?

Yup.  It would be all cruisers and sport bikes.  Europeans, in my opinion, have better taste in bikes than we do here.  I think the reason is that more people actually ride them there for regular transportation as opposed to having them for fashion items.
That list has a lot of naked standards that I would consider buying if I could afford a new bike.  But they never sell well here (Honda Hornet, for example).
Oh well, I am perfectly happy on my old Honda.  If I ever can afford a new bike, it will be a Moto Guzzi V7 anyway!

It was coded NC30, a scaled down version of the RC30 Superbike.
It was a Japan only model but a few came into the UK.
The biggest problem was the price, You could buy a CBR1000 for the same money.
I bought one from a mate who had had it from new in 99 for £2,400, raced it for 5 years and sold it back to him in 05 for £2,000, biggest mistake I ever made.
12.7 second @ 108mph quarter mile.

I could toss a few quid for a 400 or an RC30.

Three hundred and some change, must have been pretty nimble.
