Short Front Fender for "bobbed" look on CB500?
« on: January 13, 2010, 11:09:44 PM »
So, again im trying to figure out some of my design for my CB500, before I get to actually doing it.  ;D I want to have my front fender be chrome, instead of painted. My current front fender is absolutley riddled with small dents all over. My horn got remounted way too low by the po. So, my question is, has anybody ever used a smaller (shorter), chrome front fender from a different model Honda or other bike for that matter, to use on their CB500/CB550/CB750? I like the look of a bobbed front fender for my bike. Thanks.

i went throught the same thing, except mine was trashed so i bobbed it and painted it... just cut off one end to use as a template, and dremeled away... its not perfect, but looks better than it did!
