I like the stained glass. But what is that radio looking unit to the right of the other lamp?

Good eye.
That's a Kodak DCS100 digital Camera--camera (mod NikonF-3) is on top.
The camera is attached by an imbilical (sp?) to the case below which holds a
Winchester Drive as well as a small B&W screen for previewing images.
The unit also had a built in modem for sending images back to the shop.Cost was $28,000 (3 mb file)--- didn't have too many takers--ended up giving most of them away.--I thought it was a nice try though--not bad for 1988.

In keeping with my theme, I'm thinking just embalm me and prop me up in the chair.

No I don't, but it sounds like a very interesting and difficult skill to master.
I'd like to see some of her work.
The one in my picture is quite well done , I'd say.
Made in China.

I used to make stained glass a long time ago.  I still remember it took me all night to figure out one piece so it wouldn't break when cut, but still be pleasing to the eye.  I was so thrilled when I fanally worked it out- then I realized I was creating a huge rose window.  Never looked back.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Yes, a Theremin, indeed!--this one made by Moog.
I find it difficult to play a tune with

I'm thinking it's related to the buildup of technology and creativity during the later part of the twentieth century, I'll site a few examples in no particular order:
