You know, that's interesting, Mark.  At work I hear a lot of different languages and because I don't understand anything but English passably, I end up focusing a lot more on their tonal qualities etc... a lot of things are WAY more musically inclined than english. Farsi and Kiswahili in particular sound very pretty. They're probably talking about mundane stuff or work or whatever, but none of the vowels or consonants are as harsh as English. Very neat.
