i know full well this has been covered here but i'll be damned if i could find the thread  >:(  i'm pretty sure that it was here that someone had gotten the campbell x pipe for their 750 and i'm wondering how satisfied you are with it after a season of riding with it? if i can get the A/C system i pulled out of one of my mustangs sold, i'm going to get a new exhaust and the 3 i've looked at was the carpy yoshi replica, the x pipe and the 4 into 4 that ColinMc is looking into getting built. all i know for sure is that the kerker needs to go away as soon as i can afford a new exhaust.

Is there a SOHC model xpipe? I see this post referencing it here - MX1-H2- this is your post?

They were correct; that system was designed for the DOHC 750/900/1100 (MX1-H4).  Not the SOHC 750 (MX1-H2).  There is a difference in the length of the head pipe.

I was poking at Carpy's Yosh knockoff or the Xpipe to replace my Kerker once I save the pennies as well but wrote the Xpipe off reading bgfootball's thread so if there's a right one I'd like to know too.

http://www.x-pipe.com/motorcycle.html  last year when i first started thinking about this pipe they told me that the part number is the same but there are different pipes for both the sohc and the dohc. i'm also likely to send a spare set of pd carbs  (that IS the series of carbs from 77 and 78 with the accelerator pumps arent they?)i have to them to get them bored

id go with carpys yosh copy...just personal opinion, but carpys is #$%*in tits compared to the rest. to bad he doesnt make em for 500s. and too bad im poor ;D
