I recommend peanut oil.  High heat resistance and the lovely smell of peanut butter.

Oil of Olay would be a good choice.  Smooths and keeps things moisturized.

Now wait a minute here, if you guys keep recommending food based oils someones bound to come in here and read that and think 'oh wow... I've got some of that, guess I'll give it a try' then they'll come back crying... I'd recommend some KY, you might have to dilute to get the viscosity right, but at least it's petrolium based. ;D ;)

True, but we will get more posts on engine rebuilding, kinda keeps things going. Think about it.  ;D
