After much peeing about I think I got it sussed.....terrible photography but hey you guys put me under pressure. ;D

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Scunny is probably too busy going faster. ;D
I still like this idea of a level playing field "shoot-out" so that bikes of a like CC or style are against each other, just need more players.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I think Scunny's bike stands on it's own. I am sure he feels that he doesn't need to push to hard. I have a feeling BOTM is not his main intention for building it. ;D

who builds bikes just for botm?  That's like saying I was born to ride... I do other stuff, but riding is an added bonus. wtf, wait a minute, no, riding is my life. huh.
I'll think of another metaphor. one that works. ;)

Live to ride, ride to live. Huh?

I've known more than a few of them over the years.

But that is pretty much what I figure Scunny does. Live to ride, not pump his vote count.

Anyhow, good luck to all. Should be close this month.

There are times pumping the vote count cures my sanity towards the end of the month.  But then, it also keeps this thread exciting and informative.

It has given me a few good ideas for when I can find one of these in my area.

To me, the BOTM is the "Other Babe Thread".
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Sorry Bill looks like I got that wrong, but many are listed as LC650's here in NZ, after some investigation I find they are correctly listed as a CB650RC.
Strangely enough they only have a listed top speed of 105 mph whereas Kits' model boasts 115 mph? :o
My old 79 is listed as 107 mph. :)

http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/honda_cb_650_rc_1982.php

They were CB650SC's in the US. Here is mine.

I think 650's have the best looking engines of all the sohc4's. So lean looking compared to my 750. The rocker covers just look sleek.

That's the exact model I had, kinda miss the CV carbs and the kick in the arse when you accelerate.
One of the better looking 650's of all time for my money.

Thanks! It's just decals that look like chrome. When i have the sidecovers on it, the line carries through to the tail.
