Well im back...sorta
« on: January 17, 2010, 02:10:03 PM »
Hey guys..its been awhile. I guess i kinda started fading out of things just after i left the riding group i was in. Got more involved into the RC hobby along the way. The things that basically cut me off at the knees and killed all momentum when it comes to motorcycles were this. The day i rode over to walmart to get a razor blade scraper to remove the LSR decal from my windscreen someone walked up and flat out backhanded me before i even had a chance to realize she was there. Turns out some now former LSR members had nearly ran her off of the road by cutting right in front of her with no room to spare to avoid them. That was strike 2 towards bikes at the time...Strike 1 was the events of the poker run i had mentioned on here before...the same poker run that resulted in me leaving LSR in the first place. Strike 3 was finding the rust holes in the fuel tank of the Interceptor that basically flat out stopped me cold. Well the interceptor is under a roof this winter so if i ever feel up to it i can at least work on it under shelter. I keep occasionally looking for CB750s on the local online classifieds so dont count me right out yet...i just needed to step away for a bit and do some reevaluating of my life.

Don't know what all this LSR business is, but it's good to hear from you.I actually managed to get a ride in with Upperlake this summer.

Well Chris, I hope you DO decide to get back into the motorcycle scene and at least, can get back with us more often, as we DO miss your not being here. ;)

Good to see YOU here too K C  8) , Haven't heard much from YOU in a while.  ;)

LSR was a riding group that Chris was with for awhile, but he found out that they just weren't the type he wanted to be associated with. He posted on here, some time back, about the goings on with that.

I, for one, am hoping that the two of you can get to where you are with us more often, I enjoy the input that you 2 have to offer. ;)

Like to see that one KC, I'm not sure if you know or not, but I have gotten myself an 83' GPZ1100 and main thing it needs is a new paint job. It has the original paint and the clearcoat is coming off, along with the stripes starting to fade a little. Still has the EFI and ruins great! I haven't been too rambuctous with it, not yet anyway. I've had it up to 100 and looking to 120 on it before too much longer (after it warms up abit).

                                            Take care, Bill ;)

         Not a problem.

Those were from the seller's listing. I've got some of my own, but they are with an 80' CBX that I picked ujp on a while back.

Yea Bill i plan on being around a lot more often...one thing i realized while i was away that by doing so there were people in fact noticing that i was gone and possibly getting concerned about it. This realization came about after my brother resurfaced after being MIA for the past 8 years...that right there was one thing that drove my thoughts to reappearing and letting everyone know in this extended family of all of us that im still around and kicking azz.

We're glad to have you back, man.  I for one have missed you.

Thank you Kit

Before i forget...heres one of the places i got sent to for two weeks as a sort of..working vacation pretty much...camping during the day working at night spending it all on the lake front...

What i usually seen when going to bed in the morning

My accommodations during the day lol

My 4 wheeled Honda during the morning

I do have a few more pics of the area if you guys want to see them...I made it a point to take a lot of pics while i was out of town working. That's another thing that's kept me away..pretty much most of last winter i was out of town working on various stages of a pipeline project. Then in the fall i was posted at a marina which is where these pics are from.
