Future sohc4 rider!
« on: January 17, 2010, 03:44:17 PM »
I just wanted to let all my sohc4 family know about our good news.

Our daughter, Hazel Lois, was born very early on Saturday morning.  She was a healthy 8lbs 14oz!  She and Mama are doing very well and both are sleeping and eating a lot. :)

congrats to you and your wife! beautiful baby. You picked some vintage names there so I'm guessing they are family names? Good choice either way.  :)

Yep, they're family names.  Hazel was my Grandmother and Lois was my Wife's Grandmother.  They've both passed on, but this year they would have both been 100.  I was very close to my Grammie and always wanted to have a little girl named after her, and I got my wish yesterday! :)

Thanks again, everyone! :)

Hazel and Mama are still doing very well and just hanging out in bed, but I've been running my ass off.  Between my wife, Hazel, and our 2 year old son I've been on constant duty with meals, snacks, diaper changes, baths, diaper changes, more snacks, laundry, dishes, trash, diaper changes, more laundry, meals, diaper changes, etc... ;D ;D

Gotta go now, it's time for another diaper change and then lunch!
