I saw a really familiar looking 500/4 at the one motorcycle show last night!
'75 cb400f, '77 cb550f , CB160 road racer, '88 Hawk GT track bike, FZR400 race bike, and a bunch of old hondas in boxes.

Yes it was at the show, which was tons of fun and totally crowded thousands of people rolled through, lots of cool bikes and new people to meet. They kinda tucked my bike away in the corner but it actually was a blessing in disguise because it allowed people to walk around the bike more easily.

Tragedy though on the return trip home it fell over in the trailer  :'( I somehow didn't get one of the straps secure enough even though I checked twice. Nothing I can fix though easily enough. It ended up crunching only the gauge and its mounts so I should be able to weld it back on and tear the gauge apart and hammer it straight again.

So I got to ride the cx today. What a rompin stomping bike. I was able to get out on it because I put a wrap on the tail light and the front brake line. The cx has a surprising burst of speed for a 500. All that is left that really matters too much is a seat.

It has been a while since a photo was posted so I just wanted to post up the latest. It looks really cool in the natural light better then in the shop I think. All that is really left is a seat.

Awesome work.  It does look better in natural light, but I am hoping to seeing it in person.

Its one of the most neutral and easy bikes to handle I have ever ridden easy at slow speeds especially. I haven't ridden it super hard to test the limits of the shock but it seems to do what its supposed to no wiggles or weird tracking issues.

Little Dragon looks so cool round 2!  Is it going back to your Sis?  If so, adopt me. I wanna be part of the family if it means getting sweet bikes.  :D. The cx is a great looking bike stripped down with the monoshock. I love the cowl. If you didn't need it for ignition and battery (is it tucked in there?), I think it would look nuts with just a mild 2" lip at the back to serve as a bump stop.

the battery actually sits under the engine I used the cowl mostly for the ignition and to house the wicked LED tail light I hid in there.

I will do another cx build, the next one though I hope to super charge and I have a few design ideas I will do if I go that route. Money would be more of an issue though  :(. Anyone have a free super charger  ;D?

Looks like the lathe is coming in real handy!  Now that LD is ready to go, when do we get to see progress on Little Grasshoppa?

I am going to pick it up from my dad's place not this weekend, but the next. Then for some more fun with that. I need to make an attachment for the hitch so I can get the bike without a trailer. Since LG is only 130lbs a platform attachment should work fine. My dad says its a mess but we will see what can be done. I am itching for another project already, what can I say Im addicted.

Stayed tuned for the next project my c200 build which should get rolling any day here as soon as I get off of my ass.  ;D
