Well done little horse, you've taken the ugly duckling of Honda's and turned it into a thing of beauty..... ;)

I already have my cb500 in the show and I didn't want to be greedy and ask for another spot even though both bikes are vastly different.

Looks awesome!  Love the color.  If I remember correctly your sister lives up here in the Seattle area.  I really look forward to seeing this one in person.

Yeah she is in the Seattle area, she plans on eventually taking it to the "Backfire" if you are ever there thats probably the best place to see it.

LH, LD is looking beautiful!  The decorative bezels are a nice addition both aesthetically as well as in color against the paint's dark gray.

You know how you always hear people say, "Don't quit your day job?"  I think you may need to do just that!

Believe it or not I bring the same passion to what I do during the day too. Metal fab just doesn't get old for me. I could craft all day every day and not get tired of it.

There is a "rumor" of some potential projects in the works right now. I will with hold the details until it happens but is is very likely that I may have six motorcycles in the shop in the next couple of months. So yeah a little crazy to think about how busy that will make me but you know I can't say no to such a fun challenge  ;D.

Speaking of aesthetics, I just realized with that hugger you made, there's a nice side benefit with the bike being shaft drive.  Since there's never any need to move the wheel fore/aft like with a chain driven bike, the wheel to hugger distance never changes.  As long as you don't change your model of tire anyway.

If you're interested in making a business of this, then having 2 different bikes shown makes a whole lot of sense.  It's not greed, it's marketing.

Its a space thing though as well, I would ask in a heartbeat if there was more than enough space. Even last year on its debut year there was a good deal of bikes there. This year with the additional popularity it most likely space will be pretty tight. At any rate I still have a lot to get done so it can be ready and I am hoping that its clear out so I can bring both bikes and then be able to park the cx outside for people to see.

I give it two thumbs up. Great work!  I'm an old BMW and Guzzi fan and I've always thought that the CX500 and 650 engines were a work of art. I've been watching the local CL closely for one for a long time and the problem is that the early ones are kind of scarce and I'm not interested in the skeleton of the "C" model. One day I'll find a suitable platform and your build has given me inspiration. Top notch work. I applaud your creativity.

50% of the suckiness of electrical is down to the mindset people are in when they work on it, because everyone keeps going around talking about how much electrical sucks.  If you keep cool and take a careful and rational approach, it'll go fine and you might find that you start to like it. :)

I don't find it sucks in difficulty I find that it sucks that even after its finished it seems like there is too much of it everywhere at least with this bike. Also there is no glory in it no one can tell once its done.

Sometimes, when you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
