Topic: 1973 cb750 bars

I am trying to figure out the size of 1973 k handle bars ? I know they are 7/8 " bars but what are the other specs ? especially how tall.

My 73 had some fairly tall bars on it when I got it but still had internal wiring, I believe they're called '300' bars.  What other measurements do you need?

The 73 & 74 had the same bars. My K4 came with higher bars the previous owner put on in the pic. I am removing them and going with the stock bars. Are these the taller ones you mentioned?

I knew I had a pic somewhere, the bars at the top are stock 78CB750K the lower ones are what I referred to in my earlier post.

Maybe I should have explained what I am doing and you guys could help better. I have already completed my first project. See the OPERATION BIRTH KONTROL thread and I am now starting my second project OPERATION BOBZILLA. I am looking at building a hardtail bobber and I am wondering about the dimensions of stock bars. I can get 10" over cables but if I dont know the dimensions of the stock bars I can't quite figure out what size bars I can use with 10 over cables. For example if stock bars are 4" tall and I use 10" over cables I should be able to use 14" bars. CORRECT?
