We should pull that pan. I don't have a gasket but while it is out it would be the smart thing to do. What you doing tomorrow Jerry, I'll make dinner.  hehe. Terry you already get dinner.
We pulled the nuts and all but not the 6 inner one's under the pucks.
I don't think we broke the seal on the head gasket.

Hummh, not sure. Family. What time are you guys starting? Is there room in that garage of your's for 3 of us?! I should be taking mine down. I actually got motivated and removed and drained my tank today ::) That's a start  ;) I think seeing your stuff lit a small fire. If I can make it I can bring a gasket. What else is on your list?

The bolt holes you circled in red are very easy to strip, be sure to check the threads and be careful torquing them down. I tapped the 4 center bolts for new 1/4" fine thread bolts.

Whats the deal on the 4 copper washers I need for the install of the head. I don't think they where there. I can pick them up at Ace? Something about copper washers on 5,6,7,8,

Well we pulled the pan and some gunk in there from the tensioner rubber wheel. and ended up pulling the head and cylinder. pics to follow.
So look's like stock pistons with the RC237 cam.

G'Day Paul, the copper washers are there to seal those studs as they are also carry oil. They are the same thickness as the steel washers, but if you can only get thin ones, just install a steel washer over it. Bummer about the stock bore, I was hoping that you had at least an 836, or even a 900 kit. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I'll pick some up for the buildup. Yea too bad about stock piston's.

It has a nice copper head gasket.

cylinder walls have some nice honeing marks and very little to no lip.
