sparkplug question
« on: January 23, 2010, 11:19:19 AM »
Hey guys good afternoon
Got a question for the forum. I have a 71 750 with 3 ohm coils and a dyna ignition. plug wires do not have resistor caps. Should I run resistor plugs or non resistor. thanks

I run solid copper core wires and resistor plugs with dyna 3 ohm coils.... don't know if that helps.
everything I say is pure speculation and
I have no idea what I'm talking about  ._.

I'd wait for confirmation from a pro or two first.

Tons of information on resistor vs. non-resistor plugs and caps in previous threads.  Try a search from the main page for something like "resistor plugs" or "resistor caps".  Should bring up a lot of info.

Without resistor plugs or caps starting my 750 in the garage would make my garage door opener go up and down .
Could be fun out on the road with all the computers in cars these days  ;D
I have Dyna S and 3 ohm coils and I ended up with 5000 Ohm resistor caps on non resistor plugs .

Same here with the Dyna S, good spark here also.
