750 Inlet Stubs

Anyone ever sucessfully removed the screw-in inlet stubs on the 750 cylinder head?
I put a large socket and breaker bar on mine and cant shift 'em :(

I've done it more than 10 times. ;) You need to thoroughly heat the area and put the head in a vice or clamp it to a metal table (to hold securely).

I've looked at that too.  It looks like there is some grinding or rough polishing inside after they're assembled.  Will one from another head just go right in without any additional work?

I took a set out, a few ended up stripped. Have to weld them back in.
 I wouldnt take them out if I didnt have to, unless you want to make bigger ones.
