Guess what? another new member saying hello!
« on: January 20, 2010, 02:29:29 PM »
Hey all, I got referenced here by a guy over on ADVRider. Got a CB350F as my first bike three years back. Here's a writeup of a ride I took this summer:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=542933

Anyway, I've had to figure out a LOT of crap by working on this bike so I'll do my best to share anything I learned (probably all wrong). Head gasket's leaking now, so that's probably the next project...

Anyway, good to be here!

Welcome.  Is the leak a slow weap of oil?  If so, more likely it's the little rubber oil passage seals rather than the gasket.

hmmm...

It's a real slow leak from the front left corner of the headm right along the gasket line. just a couple drops worth over a couple days worth of riding. It would be awesome not to have to replace the gasket. Thanks!

I'm there.

And the Beemer rides great. It was one hell of a power upgrade!

Excellent. Ill PM you my number in case you cant spot the "bikers".

I know what you mean about power upgrade- going from a 1974 CB 750 to a 2003 VStrom (DL1000) was a fun experience.

Cheers
