           Oh, I know that the VW's can be really built for power, but I just don't have the gumption myself, Like to HEAR about them though. So, talk on brothers! ;)

my 65 would hit around 110 or so in 3rd, it hit "oh #$%*" at the top of 4th. i made a bunch of money off of that car before most of the street racers in and around tampa got the word out about the ugly purple beetle.

  Aw Man, I was watching the auction when they interrupted at least twice, to say that the storm was coming through and they felt things would be alright and were going to go on with the cars that they had staged waiting their turn. That is Terrible, I'd be chomping at the bit! :-\ >:( That WOULD be enough to make you cry AND want to fight to get in there to your car(s)! :(

 I just can't imagine. :o

There was some REALLY nice Mopar muscle there Bill...seems alot of guys were fed up with the B.J. auction and their rules about buy backs and reserves. B.J. got hit too by the storm but NOWHERE near as bad....

You are right.  Mustangs and Camaros are not muscle cars.  They are chick cars.  Right there with PT Cruisers and VW Beetles.

           Yeah, I had seen some Really NICE ones there. Anytime I see a situation where cars or bikes might catch the brunt of a storm, I cringe, even if it's what I would consider an Off Brand! :-\    BTW, I didn't know of the situation between Barret Jackson and the guys. I guess it's hard to find a place where there's not some kind of conflict! :(
