GSXR1000 rods wil fit, Differrent stroke and wristpin size though

What exactly are you wanting to do? Longer stroke, shorter, lighter?

But there is one hint, increase stroke we can get by changing crank shaft, what i'm looking for to use Super rods yoshi if them are the same lenght as cb500-550 with 650 crank and 550 pistons matched with 550 barrels, optionally 60-61 pistons to keep rev ability the same but changing a bit characteristic of a torque by 650 crank

What i hev found out the 2005-2008 carillo rods for gsxr1000 don't know if them are the same Howell uses in his, but written is there that lenght is 111.00 mm and somebody in howells topic wrote them CB500 are 5mm shorter but still there is missing info about cb750 rods,

What i want to do is to use 550 pistons with cb650 crank, 550 head or if will find any 60-61 pistons bore out 550 barrels and put 650 head on it with mild cam on it.

Hi Rob, the company in the UK that make our Rods are called Robson Engineering. They will make any Rod for you,  they are not cheap but cheaper than Carrillos. We have used them in our 500/4s and they have performed well.
The Rods in the pics are ones that we had made for a project for a 498cc Honda/4 based on the old 400/4, but with a 15mm little end instead of the 13mm standard little end. So at least you know what they look like. If you want the address PM me and i will send it to you.
The rods are for sale if any one is building a 400/4 bored out to 498cc.

No different stroke with the GSX-R rods !!!!! , crankshaft is still stock.
But the rods are longer and the piston is shorter above the pin.

At the moment i'm considering to set it in a street bike, but don't mind the engine would be strong. Howell have you got that rough idle in yours cb500??

Some people are not understanding something, so I will put this out there:

The length of con rods does not affect the length of your stroke. Stroke is the same, regardless of rod length.

Stroke is changed by crank. Specifically, by how far the crankpins are away from the rotational center of the crank.

I know most of you know this already, but some people apparently do not.
No.

Looks like quality gear.
I've submitted a Quote request.
Shorter Rods may allowe me to remove the spacer plate under my barrels.
Look forward to catching up with you at PI in January.

Cheers,
Brian
