well this is what happens when you give Andrew (little_horse) an idea, a tank, some money and artistic freedom!

just everyone wait until it's painted nice and white with some red accents!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

very nice wannabridin.  The tank fins are very art deco, and the knee dents & other metal work are nicely done.  Great base, looking forward to seeing it painted.

cooling fins are going to be functional too!  :-D  as long as they're connected to the main tank, which they are, they'll aid in cooling :D

i wish i had half of Andrews talents, he surely is AWESOME!!

You got to put a couple of LEDs in those cutouts.  Running lights maybe?  A set of glowing eyes looking back. ;) :)

Andrew and i have talked about that before.  i've thought about it too.  i'm thinking some extra brake lights would be trick!  dual intensity for running and brake would look awesome!

There's a side benefit too.  Running/brake lights would add a glow to the cutouts at night.  Unique look, and added safety.

I like the seat, more for the taillight cutouts than the indents.  The oil tank is just badass.

+1 for the cylon, pretty neat. question though, why the indents in the rear?

also the oil tank fins are excellent. looking forward to seeing more progress!

andrew sent me a sketch of what he had in mind (i left him roll with the details) and then he showed me a rough idea, and i liked it.  plus they'll go decently well with the knee dents.  i think they look a HELLUVA lot better than the standard cafe cowl seats everyone and their dog has.  and i should have enough room still for all my electrics in there!  it'll def. stand out int he crowd!  i just need to figure out how to paint it.  it will be white with red accents/stripes (matching the frame)

How about a white body, with the indents in red, like the 60/61 Corvette scallops.

I thought about this, i'll need to do a little photochoppin at some point.  i think it would look pretty #$%*in, "reversed" like that (ie no white in the center)

what color for a pinstripe to split the red and white up?  a dark blue?

I vote silver or another white pinstripe imbedded in the red. Red white and blue needs to be saved for my Evil K bike :)

Good idea guys.  Maybe even match the dark gunmetal paint (cast iron) for the engine cases...

I think reversed will look awesome. if you do it white with red indents, with that tail light, its going to look like a dinosaur head or something with big red eyes
