Picture in my head
« on: January 23, 2010, 10:20:25 AM »
I keep thinking of a 750 kawi twin, hardtail, nekkid, solo seat, sporty type tank, drag bars, drum brakes, every thing black, low, raked a little, tiny speedo, small round headlight, hog rim on back, fat 18" front  with this faded old triumph fender and a trailer fender on the back with an indian taillight, firestone replicas with the zig zag tread. Black rims with a white pinstripe. 50's look

Most of us are building something along that line........but a KAW?  It might be your personal choice but I don't like rattles in the head and klanks in the starter.  Will you dream become reality?

Sounds like a good look to me, can those kawi issues mentioned below be overcome?

I only picked the Kaw cause it's a big twin and hardly anyone would know what it is. A 450 honda would be more likely. My raked CB750 will probably substitute but it would be fun to disguise a big twin and make up some wierd story about what it is, like a 55 henway.
A large single would be cool too.
