Is this caliper usable?

Is this caliper toast? The inside where the piston goes looks a lot better, but the scoring that can be seen here looks like it may cause binding on the pad? Any suggested remedies? Thanks!

That will be fine.  But you gotta clean it up!  Red scotchbrite will clean that up in a hurry.
If it works good, it looks good...

Yeah should be good. Clean that up nice by hand or send to Noblehops to get it vapor blasted and it’ll look like new.

Make sure to clean the seal groove out really well. I use a brass brush in my dremel and a dentists mirror to look for corrosion.

that scoring is just factory machining marks.
