Whats wheels are these?
« on: February 21, 2010, 09:17:59 PM »
There is a bike for sale that has different wheels on it. What are they? Are they rare? Are they worth anything?

Anyone?

Defiantly a reverse comstar on the rear.   Front I would guess off around a 79/80 yamaha.
I have 3 or 4 of the comstars and cant get rid of them.

Are Comstars a direct bolt-on? Front, rear? What?

I hate spoke wheels. If I can get some mag style wheels, I would be very happy.

I believe most Comstars for front are 5 bolt pattern, and discs wont fit a 550. That front Yamaha mag, has same bolt pattern as the 550 front disc.

Are any of your comstar wheels for the rear with a drum? I have a '76 CB750 that I am looking for a rear drum comstar wheel for. Or at least I would like to have one so it matches the front.

The sohc 750's had the "regular" comstars.  Silver in color.   The sohc 650's has the reverse comstars.  The black ones.   All 650's had a rear drum.   So I dont think I'll have what your looking for.
