This bike was a lot of fun to bring back to life.

Damn cool bike TC, for a moment I was worried that you had actually fitted one of those horrible double bucket seats????  ;D
What did it cost to land it in NZ?
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Hi Hush, I can't remember what shipping and duty was but I remember it was USD $600 to crate it. I will never buy another bike without first actually seeing it and riding it. A lesson learned late in the game.

The sourcing, shipping and restoring is where the interest is for me. I love riding it but of course I'm now onto a new project which is my 1971 Datsun 240z.

Hi Bill, I couldn't source me a '67 convertible 'Cuda down under so had to settle for what I could (barely) afford.

Cheers.
