I have a 72 CB500 and was curious if a headlight assembly from a cb450 or a cb750 would be compatible with my bike.

As long as its CB not CL should fit

i used a H4 automotive insert,i modified a holden headlight bucket to fit inside the honda one and voila,quartz 55/60 watt.i never ride at night so its for day dazzle.
