[Industrial Cafe]

This number calls me 7 days a week 2-7 times a day, and sometimes 4 times in a minute.
It rings my line between the hours of 4:00am and 11:00pm and hangs up within 2 seconds of picking up the phone.
    It seems to be connected to something I did while filling out a bogus form online. I realized it was bogus and didn't submit it, but I guess when I was going from page to page, it saved my information.
Stupid of me, I know, but I was trying to find some information on grants for school.

When you call it back, it says this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

I looked the number up through google and I'm not alone. anyone else get this number on their caller ID?

Geez-Louise.  From your Google link, it looks like a lot of people are getting those calls.  That is strange.


Go back to that form and enter your local police phone number.  Maybe 911.  Or better yet, enter some number at the White House, preferably the oval office phone number.  That should fix it.

Not that same number, but I've had the same thing happen with other numbers before.  It's always eventually stopped, though, if that's any consolation.

I'm not surprised.  I had one last year that went on for at least a couple of months.  I'd go with the suggestion of getting that number blocked if possible.

since I posted this thread at 10:36am, I've gotten the call from this number 3 times. it's now 10:55am

and twice before 10:30am.



Edit: I will call my local phone company after I pay the bill.
        I'm late on that right now and they won't do anything but heckle me about paying it.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet that the director of the FBI and the director of the CIA are interested in taking some classes from this place.  You should sign them up on that form.   


On a more serious note, can you just change your phone number?  Or would that be a huge pain in the keister? 

I "inherited" the number of some girl named "Danielle."  I get a lot of calls and texts for her.  It's not as bad as what you're going through though.  The worst part for me is "Danielle" apparently still uses her old number at the local community college and I am on their emergency notification call list.  So on snow days, early early in the morning, I get a voice-recorded call saying that the college is closed.  I might care that the college is closed, IF I was a student there....   

I had my number removed, but a year later it was on their list again.

I got a new telephone # when I moved to Manchester, NH , but had to have it changed
as an incarcerated prostitue used to have the number.

I've had this number for almost 2 years, and still get almost as many calls for him as i do for me.

we get phone calls for a resturant around the corner, their number is off by one of ours. our number ends in 7706 theirs in 7606. i get to the point that i keep one of their takeout menus by the phone and take orders, give out discounts and free stuff. i wouldnt do it but i got really bad food poisoning and they told me too damn bad. i screw with their customers every chance i get

Gee.  I can understand the calls from the debt collectors, but you'd think Cameron would have given his Dad the new number.   


I live on the border of Michigan and Indiana, so I would really like to have two numbers for people in each state so it's not long distance for them (yes, some people still use land lines  .  But I would hate to inherit another person's number.
