my non SOHC Honda and her new lil' sister...
« on: January 29, 2010, 05:06:09 AM »
Hey all. I havent been on much since I got rid of my CB500k1, but Ive been busy in the garage on my 71CB350. Its a poor mans attempt at a kinda/sorta racer tribute bike. I know the "patina'd" look isnt for everyone, but Im digging it and the titles in my name so...
The beginning (it wasnt as nice as the pic makes it seem...):

Now:

Still need to wrap the motor up, and fit the rearsets (from an '07 GSXR600). Should be finished in a month or so.

New toy. '72 Suzuki T250 Hustler. Picked it up about a year ago for a friend for $50. He sold it to another friend who tore it apart, than quit on the little beast. Now its mine. Have to get a title before I do anything with her. PO got it from some crazy hillbilly who had it for 15+ years and never had a title. He was going to use it as a dirtbike. Glad I got to it before that happened. As you can see, It will be a longterm project...
