at least thats how most people here in Columbia SC are acting. it's snowing on and off, little tiny flakes, the flakes are small enough and theres so little of the snow, it's almost like it's just fog freezing. flakes about the size of a pinhead, unless youre in the car watching the flakes land on the windshield you'd never know it was snowing.

   Hey Jeff, we ended up with about 4-6"in Arkansas. Now, comes the slow rising of the temps, the melt off with the mess, then temps get back where it is pretty fair. Then, next thing you know the temps will drop again and so on. Thing is, IF you have to get out, you have those idiots who drive like there's nothing on the road. They will cause accidents and usually not get involved themselves. ::) hen I went to take care of my Dad, he said he was GLAD he was inside and nice and warm. ;D

Were snowed-in here in Nashville by 4 inches of the white stuff !!  The roads are slick frozen and no-one's risking getting stuck on the slightest hill !!   On top of the snow came a couple of hours of freezing rain which put 1/4 in. sheet of ice over'top.......
The dogs loved going out today, the big one just bust thru' the snow but the Jack Russel just ran around on top, not enough weight to break the frozen surface........ had to carry him home he just got too shivery in his white fur...!!   It's just like walking on a giant wedding cake and really crunchy and noisy too .... no thaw expected till Tues.

i was down in killeen tx when it snowed in november a couple of inches
they darn near shut the town down
people here need about 2 weeks of snow to learn how to drive in the stuff again

Strange weather you all are having.

We up north are used to it. Must be terrible to have to drive in something
unfamiliar.

Our snow probably will not melt until late March, if that makes you feel any better.

the big problem i have with the cold weather now, is that last week, all week we had really warm weather and all my fruit trees started to get blossom buds on them. with the cold now, it looks like all the buds coming out are now dead from the freeze.
