one of the things i do to keep me busy when i'm in too much pain to do much more than sit on the couch watching tv is i LOVE the dealing and bargaining and haggling in the trade and sale of musical instruments. this afternoon i had found a squier version of the thinline telecaster and the guy said it's brand new still has the plastic on the pickups, so i threw the digitech multi effects box i was trading to get the tele and headed out to elgin. the guitar IS brand new, still has that blue sheet plastic covering the pickups and pickguard.........on the Squire duo-sonic and no matter how much proof i gave him (the lettering on the headstock saying duo-sonic for instance. i finally got pissed off and came back home the guy had already sending me an email saying, this was a special thinline that they put the wrong necks on so they were worth even more than they were selling for.
