got to love a hospital with free wireless. i ended up badly dehydrated with a high (104 degrees) temperature. the walking pneumonia has turned into pneumonia. doc said i'll be out tomorrow or wedensday, i was badly dehydrated and i couldnt keep anything down, not even water. i love the buzz the cough suppresant gives me

too bad, it's a beautiful day for a ride too.

good luck mang! i remember i had a bad case of food poisoning awhile back and i couldn't keep water down either. the doc finally gave me a suppository, and while working great was extremely awkward to "install" myself, haha! either way, it sucks ass to not be able to even drink water!!!

eeeek... sorry to hear that man. your lucky, my dad was just in the hospital here in sf.... no wifi, no cell phones nothing. poor sucker was going crazy!

the thing they were most worried about was the fever, it hit 104.3 at one point. yeah the only things i really miss beiing here are the cats and my guitars. they wont met me bring either in

Im really looking forward to that 350f project. You lucked out finding that thing here. Ive seen a few in worst shape totally locked up for 500 in Charleston and when i called theyre already sold!!!

i'm going to have to wait a while before i can drive out to sumter to pick that 350 up. few weeks and i ought to be back on my feet. at one point i DID have a wild dream where i was jamming with bob weir and bob dylan, jerry hasnt showed up yet though. if he does i'll try to get him to autograph one of my guitars

i'm waiting for discharge papers now. i had to swear i wouldnt go out at all until this time next week, but they figured i'd do better at home (i dont do good without the cats, and hamish refuses to eat or drink if i'm not there) i can just as easily take antibiotics at home as at the hospital, and not going out is no big deal for me, it's too damn cold and wet out there to do anything but be cold and wet. temp is back to normal which was the main concern i guess. i feel totally wiped out, like i was run over by a tank, still sore from coughing and tired as hell from not being able to sleep even a little bit. i will have to be on prednisone for a while which sucks but at least i'll be home with the critters and guitars.

Hamish has literally not let me out of his sight for a single second since i walked in the front door. i had to shower tonight with the curtain pulled back so he could see me while i showered. he sat in my lap while i went to the bathroom, he sat on the barstool in the kitchen while i heated up a bowl of chili for my dinner and he's on the back of the couch right now with his hands on my right shoulder while i type. i'd hate to think of what would happen ot the old bastid' if something ever happened to me to take me out permanently. i know people say they'll eventually get over the loss of their person but those folks have never seen Hamishs' attatchment to me. he hadnt even groomed himself while i was gone. the others all looked at me, smelled the hospital smell and ran like hell, Callie the little tortie spit at me then ran away from the smell LOL.

Jeff, Good to know you are on the mend and back home again with the cats and all. I can clearly identify with the deal between you and hamish. My gig black cat named JOY, will come runing when I sit down at the computer, jump upon the pc desk, sit by me and when I don't pay attention to her, she will run my arm with the top of her head. If that doesn't do any good, she will try to walk upon my chest, causing me to stop what I'm doing and hold her on my chest with her facing my right side. If I try to hold her any other way, she will stand up and turn around really huffy like and plop herself into the position SHE wants to be in.

Like right now, she is on the back of the chair I am sitting in. She lays on there and sometimes against me, so that If I move even slightly, she starts to slide forward and gets wedged between me and the back of the chair. I can ALWAYS tell when they are low on food and water because Molly (the Calico) and Joy will stand by me and tell me what they need (by meowing , of course)

Yeah, it really IS a cat's world!
