For other Canadians ordering Mark's book "My CB750 Book" from Lulu

I just ordered it and was surprised to find that I was charged by Lulu another $5 as Canadian Sales Tax!

I asked them about it but have not heard back.

This is not Mark's problem, but as far as I know, doing business with American suppliers from Canada does not obligate me to pay Canadian sales taxes to the supplier?

Occasionally if my items are "inspected" by Canadian Border Services and I am assessed charges on the value (usually for higher value things) I will get a hit for sales tax and "processing". If that happens this time, I'll be paying twice.

Yup, thats a rip.

Maybe he charged you extra for filling out the green customs form.
He might have miss-labeled the charge.
