"On a FOUR WHEEL vehicle". Yeah, it's been alot of years since I even worried about headlight adjustment on a car (truck or van) and I don't remember the specifics. You know, like how far from (say, my) Garage door, how far up on the door the lights should hit on the door and where they should focus (on low and high beam). If I remember correctl;y I should use thin masking tape and mark the low and high desired positions on the door and adjust accordingly. I just don't remember the specs!  HELP!!! ??? ???

I think the previous owner of the GTX, used to go squirrel hunting at night! :-X ::)

Okay folks, I don't know if one one took this seriously or no one knows (or remembers) the specs needed to do this or not. I Am serious, I need to adjust the lights, as it is now, I could go coon hunting (The lights are all over the place, except where they are supposed to be)!

Ok, I get the point, out of 20 who have read this, nobody knows or wants to own up to knowing the info I am seeking. ::)

       I will look elsewhere.

Google?

http://webmaster10.com/ldr/headlight_aiming.html

Motorcycle Headlight Aiming
Getting a correctly aimed headlight is straightforward. You need to make a couple of measurements and then aim the light at a flat wall, as follows:

With the bike on its wheels and you astride, have a helper measure the distance from the floor to the center of the headlight lens.

Pick a flat wall where you can locate the bike so the headlight is 17 feet from the wall. Place a horizontal mark on the wall two (2) inches lower than the height of the center of the headlight.

The headlight beam (on low beam) should be relatively flat on the top, and may rise rather sharply at the right edge. Adjust the headlight vertically so that the flat top of the beam is just up to that line (marked two inches down at 17 feet).

Horizontal adjustment should center the beam ahead of the line of the bike.

Well, I appreciate any input on this, but I think you missed the first line in my first part of this. It starts out like this:

"On a FOUR WHEEL vehicle".    I kinow the procedure, you park you vehicle (my GTX, in this case) pointed towards a wall or a garage door.  I don't remember how far back it should be parked AND you mark where the lights should be shining on (low beam and also high beam), with a cross with tape. I don't remember how far up the wall (or garage door) the tape should be placed and whetre (from left to right). Nonetheless, I'll give google a shot though. Thanks.

too low - cant see anything unless you are already running it over

just right - beam hits road 25 - 45 feet ahead of you and mildly blinds  oncoming cars

too high - cant see road at all unless cornering, still blinds oncoming traffic

...that is the scientific method.
slow and steady does nothing.

Sometimes, I have trouble with the "Google Process" and didn't even think of trying that. So, anyway, after Iggy suggested it, I went and tried it and found it under this:
